2014 Result
Pineau De Re was a superb winner of the 2014 Crabbie's Grand National as the Dr Richard Newland-trained raider pulled clear of Balthazar King and Double Seven to land the coveted Aintree marathon in what was a sensational performance.
He was a prominent figure throughout the contest and he duly jumped to the front coming into the home straight and pulled clear of his rivals to bag the win at 25/1, whilst Balthazar King stayed on for second place with Double Seven and Alvarado completing the placings.
