Grand National Exacta - Forecast Betting for Aintree
Grand National Exacta bets are tote bets and you can have a Grand National bet with the tote on a number of online bookmakers which we have review on our tote betting site.
The Grand National Exacta bet is generally known as a forecast bet and this is where you try and select the winner and the second in the correct order. As we have already outlined selecting the winner of the Grand National Betting Odds is very difficult but picking the winner and second in the correct order is almost impossible but if you do hit the jackpot you will be rewarded very well. There is not way of outlining how much a return you will get if you are successful as it is a tote pool bet and you will be paid out from the pool and as a rule the bigger the outsiders that you select the higher the payout.
There is a variation on the Grand National Exacta bet and it is called a Grand National Combination Exacta (again maybe better known as a reverse forecast) bet which allows you to select the first and second horse in any order. Any number of horses from 2 upwards may be selected.
The minimum bet for Single entries for unit stake of £2, rising thereafter in multiples of 10p. Combination entries are accepted with a minimum unit stake of 10p rising in multiples thereafter of 10p provided a minimum of £2 is staked Returns will be paid in accordance with the official dividend.
